Six participants and leaders of Alive in Christ (plus my 3 month old!) recently attended the ReCreation Ministries seminar in Worcester. The theme was "The Lord of the Past, The Lord of the Present, The Lord of the Future." Roy Peters, one of the leaders of that ministry, was the main speaker. It was a refreshing time of hearing the Word, worshiping God, and spending time with ministry participants and other ministry leaders. It was also my first ministry trip with just the baby! It went surprisingly smoothly, and Jeremiah, my youngest, was the talk of the conference. Here are some testimonies from Alive in Christ participants.
I attended my first conference this past weekend. Overall I had a great experience. The speakers were amazing! Each one had something different to say with Christ being the center. Personally I was challenged in how I, as a member of God's family, should live my life: not for me, but for Christ! I was also reminded, as a Christian, how important it is to be constantly in His Word. The conference gave me more time to be with my Alive In Christ group and get to know them even better. I am looking forward to the next conference and what the Lord has in store for me!A male participant

The conference was really great. I was challenged to step up and allow God to work in me more. The testimonies really encouraged me to let people in to help get me through. God has not given up on me. One talk, 'On Eagles Wings', described how the mother bird gets the little birds to learn to fly. I can't hide in the nest anymore. I left thinking of a song the worship band played: "Into marvelous light I'm running, out of darkness, out of shame!"A female participant
